Internal medicine department is the first application and solution department of all complaints of the adult patient group. Patients whose first assessment is made in the internal medicine department are referred to other branches according to the complaint and the condition of the disease.

 

The internal medicine department is also a section in which general health evaluations of people without complaints are made and diseases that have not become evident have been identified or risks have been identified.

According to the specialization they have received, internal medicine physicians are concerned with all internal diseases (heart, kidney, lung, stomach, intestinal system, blood diseases, rheumatic diseases, febrile (infectious diseases), as well as the systems affected by internal diseases with General Surgery, Eye, Neurology, and Skin. They make evaluation and guidance.

 

In addition to the specified services, in addition to blood tests, when necessary, radiological examinations (direct radiographs, ultrasonography, tomography, magnetic resonance etc.) endoscopy unit, cardiology / angio laboratory and Expert Dietitian recommendations are used.
