Cardiology

Our Department of Cardiology is a department in which clinical and laboratory studies are carried out in all areas of cardiology, diagnosis and treatment methods are applied. Adult Cardiology has a cardiology policlinic and a cardiology laboratory where examinations (ECG, exercise test, echocardiography, Holter, ambulatory blood pressure) are performed.

Echocardiography It is a unique examination since it is not an interventional procedure in the anatomical and functional evaluation of the heart and it is completely safe and has no risk.

Exercise Tests-Treadmill-Walking Band Although the patient is connected to a 12-lead ECG device on a treadmill band, also known as a walking band among the people, it is based on the principle of running by walking within certain protocols and increasing the speed of the band regularly.

Holter is the recording of heart beats with an instrument carried for 24-48 hours and then converted into an ECG tracing in computer environment with a computer program.

Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring Requires a portable blood pressure meter to remain on the patient for 24 hours, measuring and recording blood pressure every 15 or 30 minutes.
